Utopia is a game of strategy that you will either love or hate very quickly.
There are no colourful or smooth graphics, no amazing sound effects, but if you like it you will become highly addicted to it in no time.
You will be placed into a Kingdom where you will be given a province to rule alongside possibly 24 other people from all around the world who each have thier own provinces. The aim for you and your new global friends is to be the best kingdom in the world of utopia. To achieve this everyone has thier part to play and that includes you!
If you cant be active and log in at least once in 24 hours, cant communicate with strangers to make them your friends or cant play as a team member then this game isnt for you!
If you can and still want to play the game prepare yourself for a bumpy ride!
There are a lot of aspects of the game that you will need to learn quickly, there are several races and several personalities and you will no doubt have already chosen one of each, these are known as a combo and will determine which role in the kingdom you will perform.
If you dont play your part in the kingdom you will quickly become "the noob" and may even be destroyed!
To give yourself the best start once you have joined a kingdom send a message to the Monarch, explain to him you are new to the game and which race and personality you have chosen, he/she will offer you advice and links to useful information.
Listen to the advice and read as much as you can about the game and LEARN. You will have steam coming out of your ears for the initial part and will also learn by experience but your kingdom mates will expect quick results from you!
It is a game where people are striving to make thier kingdom the best one, they have done ok before you joined them so it will be no loss (except yours!!) if they were to lose you.
There are various methods of communicating with your new buddies and you should remember that just because you may be on the other side of the world to them doesnt allow you to be abusive. speak to people the same way you would as if they were walking on the same street as you and with respect and you will in turn gain thier respect.
Listen, learn and consider others and they will help you become successful to help the kingdom be successful.
